Dear Ariel Supporter,
Ariel New Zealand would like to thank you for all your support during the past year. Your partnership whether prayer, financial, following us on Facebook, purchasing Ariel material, attending Bible studies is greatly appreciated.
Due to the current situation, we face many new challenges in the year ahead, some known and others unknown.

 Online Study Groups & Content

One of the initiatives is to host online Bible studies via Google Hangouts. I did not realise just how valuable this would be during the lockdown. There are online studies available on Wednesday mornings and Friday evenings. If you would like to join, please email me, and I will send you the link. In addition to these two studies being conducted in English, I am also doing a Life of Messiah study in Afrikaans with a group in the South Island. There are study groups all over the country that are using Ariel material. If you are running a group and would like us to add your study to the website, please contact me. Another way that we are reaching out is via Facebook with regular posts teaching the Bible from a Jewish perspective. We plan to increase our online activity this year as this has become more significant.

Ariel Ministries Resources

The ministry has recorded the second-highest book sales year in 2019. We hope this growth will continue. We have increased our stock and have an ample supply of books available from Ariel Ministries. We are working hard to keep our prices competitive despite the high US dollar and shipping costs. So, with all the extra time at home, there hasn’t been a better time to visit our web site and settle back with one of our many fantastic books.

Ariel New Zealand, in cooperation with Ariel Ministries USA, has also produced three audiobooks with Rob Holding, ex-radio Rhema announcer, narrating the books. The production of a fourth book “The Footsteps of the Messiah” is in full swing and should be released later this year.

Our new website has a fresh look and features an easy to use web store. There are also lots of free study material and information on the site. Traffic through the website has already reached 80% of last year’s visits.

  Other News & Prayer Points

  • Sadly, Dr Fruchtenbaum has had to postpone his visit from October this year to April 2021. Please stay tuned for updates. Please pray that borders open up and that his visit next year will go ahead.
  • We have also awarded two scholarships to Ariel’s Camp Shoshanah, but at the moment it seems unlikely that the recipients will be able to attend. If that proves to be the case, we will carry their scholarships over to next year.
  • I was hoping to expand speaking engagements at different churches and home groups this year, but this is obviously on hold for the foreseeable future. We will keep on working and planning so that we can continue as soon as the lockdown ends.
  • We have started researching the possibility for a hosting site for Israeli travellers for next summer. Please pray with us that this will become a reality and that Ariel New Zealand can play its part in reaching these young travellers with the gospel.

As you can see, we have many projects going that are only made possible by your continued support. Please feel free to contact us at any time with questions, prayer requests, suggestions or just for a chat.

Many Blessings
Johan Jansen van Vuuren
