Chanukkah is a feast that did not begin with Moses. In fact, it is not found anywhere in the Old Testament because this is a feast that arose during the time between the end of the Old Testament and the beginning of the New Testament. Nevertheless, it is a biblical feast in two ways. First, the events that brought about the Feast of Channukah were predicted in the Book of Daniel. Secondly, Yeshua (Jesus) Himself authenticated this particular feast in that He went to Jerusalem to observe it.
