MBS053 The Ten Plagues
By Dr. Arnold Fruchtenbaum

Ten plagues were inflicted upon the land of Egypt by God because of Egypt’s enslavement of God’s people, the Hebrews. The term Hebrews is the means by which Jews Identify themselves to Gentiles.
This Messianic Bible Study will be a study of each of the plagues, what they did to Egypt, and in what way they affected Egypt’s theology. When God sent these plagues, He did not only do it to punish the Egyptians, but also to show the superiority of the God of Israel to anything that the Egyptians had to worship. In Exodus 12:12, Moses wrote that God would execute judgments against all of the gods of Egypt. Each of these plagues affected one or more of the Egyptian gods.
